Motherhood Session at Hatfield Forest.

Early winter starts are worth getting up in the dark for when the sun rises this beautifully! P and her babies braved the cold and were the loveliest little trio for this Motherhood session.

Hatfield Forest is my happy place. It blows my mind to think that King Henry VIII was once galloping through these same trees (or their ancestors, at least!) It was a joy to be able to capture a new story here.

Photographing motherhood has become one of my favourite subjects. My Mum died when I was young and I know first hand the power of a photograph when it’s one of the only things you have left.

Creating honest and real imagery with mamas and their babies has been healing, knowing that they will go away with moments captured that will forever remind their children how much they have always been adored.

This is why I love being a photographer.
